The NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board is seeking a skilled Programme Support Officer to contribute to the transformation of mental health services, specifically improving physical healthcare for patients with severe mental illness and addressing health inequalities. The role involves supporting the development and implementation of project plans, managing communication strategies, conducting process mapping, and analyzing data to inform service improvements.
Candidates should have proven experience in project/programme support, ideally with a relevant degree and project management qualifications. Key responsibilities include facilitating workshops, managing risks and barriers to transformation, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and providing regular project updates. Strong data analysis skills and a person-centered approach are essential, as well as the ability to communicate sensitive information effectively.

This role will initially focus on providing support to our programme to transform physical healthcare services to our patients with a severe mental illness, and to improve patient outcomes and experiences. However, you will also be required to support the wider health inequalities workstream in the strategic development, integration, and innovation (SDII) hub.
You will need to be an experienced project/programme support officer with a track record of supporting service development and transformation across complex systems and organisational boundaries, educated to Degree level, or experience of working at a similar level. A formal project management qualification is also desirable, or demonstrable knowledge and experience.
Co-production is core to our transformation programme and so you must be able to demonstrate experience of working in a person-centred way. Providing and analysing data will also be a key requirement of the role and so you will need to have excellent excel and data interpretation skills.
