The University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Band 4 Ward Clerk Team Leader to join their patient admin team at Heartlands Hospital. The successful candidate will possess exceptional organisational skills and be responsible for directly managing a team of ward clerks, which includes training new staff and ensuring ongoing high standards of work. Additionally, the role involves managing staff absences, such as sickness and annual leave, and ensuring that wards are adequately covered by ward clerks.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the patient admin team. This person will need excellent organisational skills in order to directly line manage a group of ward clerks at Heartlands Hospital.
To train new members of the ward clerk team, ensuring that the current ward clerks work to a high stand, managing sickness and annual leave. Ensuring wards have appropriate ward clerk cover.
