The University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Research Administrator to join its Haematology Research team, which is involved in a wide range of clinical trials focusing on both malignant and non-malignant haematology. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative and clerical support to ensure the effective delivery of these trials, assist with study coordination, maintain study documentation, book patient appointments, and manage patient communications with professionalism and empathy.

Key responsibilities include updating quality systems, maintaining regulatory documentation, supporting internal audits, and contributing to the overall administration of the clinical research team. The role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a commitment to adhering to standard operational procedures. Candidates with recent relevant experience, particularly existing Trust staff or those with "At Risk" status from the NHS, will be given preference. The position also emphasises the importance of maintaining a respectful and courteous professional demeanor while engaging with patients and colleagues alike.
