A rare and exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join the Integrated Autism Service (IAS). This service is a regional service provided by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB). You will be working alongside a Band 7 peer within the service and provide specialist assessments to people seeking diagnosis on the Autism Spectrum.

The post holder will be working alongside a Band 7 peer within the service and provide specialist assessments to people seeking diagnosis on the Autism Spectrum. The post holder will be required to work at an advanced level of practice with a high degree of autonomy. You will be operationally managed and be professionally accountable to the Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist for Mental Health. Day to day support is provided by the IAS Team Lead. You will need a knowledge of a range of rehabilitation assessments and interventions, alongside understanding a diverse range of conditions and current issues that affect a person's mental health and occupations. You will need to have experience and competence of working autonomously and be able to demonstrate advanced practice and risk management.
