The role of Clinical/Counselling Psychologist at the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust involves delivering specialist psychological services to adult clients at the South Westminster Mental Health hub. The psychologist will conduct comprehensive assessments, provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and offer guidance to non-psychologist colleagues as needed. This two-day locum position, initially for six months with a possibility of extension, emphasises collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, including strong ties with nursing and social work professionals.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in working with complex cases, utilizing diverse psychological techniques such as schema therapy and mindfulness, and will actively contribute to the development of psychosocial programs. As part of their responsibilities, they will engage in service development activities, audits, and research, while also benefiting from supportive supervision and reflection within a valued psychology service.
