East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Clinical Pharmacy Technicians to join their supportive clinical team, with possible placements at William Harvey or Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital. This position is open to newly qualified Pharmacy Technicians, individuals with a community pharmacy background, or those lacking clinical experience, as comprehensive training and support will be provided. The role involves rotations across various medical departments, focusing on medication reconciliation, evaluating patients' own medicines, participating in discharge planning, counseling patients on medications, and conducting audits.

The Pharmacy department prioritizes exceptional patient care and encourages team collaboration in service development. Although experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferable, it is not mandatory, as all necessary training will be offered. Candidates should be prepared to work shifts between 8 am and 7 pm, including weekends and bank holidays.
