The Highly Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist position at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust in Abbey Wood is a leadership role focused on delivering specialized Occupational Therapy services to children aged 0 to 18 in Greenwich. The primary responsibilities include conducting assessments and interventions for children with complex developmental, sensory, or physical challenges, collaborating with families and various healthcare and educational agencies to ensure coordinated care. The role involves managing a complex caseload, writing detailed reports for Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs), and providing guidance and training to families, staff, and students.

Candidates should possess a recognized Occupational Therapy qualification, at least three years of post-graduate experience (including two in pediatrics), and demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based practices. The position emphasises ongoing professional development, collaborative service enhancements, and effective communication skills to facilitate therapeutic relationships and manage the unique demands of the community environment.
