The Staff Nurse - Health Visiting position with CSH Surrey in Leatherhead entails joining a skilled 0-19 team dedicated to delivering the Healthy Child Programme in the community. The successful candidate, an NMC registered Nurse or Midwife, will be involved in various responsibilities including health assessments for children and families, health promotion activities, safeguarding duties, and mentoring students. The role requires excellent communication skills, teamwork, and a strong understanding of diverse family needs within the borough. The position offers professional development opportunities, including leadership programs, backed by a supportive leadership structure and strong collaboration with partner agencies like social care and midwifery.

Additionally, the role includes managing a delegated caseload, participating in multi-disciplinary team interactions, conducting family health needs assessments, and ensuring compliance with policies and training requirements. The candidate is expected to maintain their NMC registration and contribute to service audits and evidence-based practice. Importantly, the role is a part of a transition due to a service retendering process that begins on April 1, 2025, requiring candidates to have the current right to work in the UK.
