The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse for the Infectious Diseases ward, Stanhoe. This full-time position involves working 37.5 hours per week on an internal rotation, which includes long days, early and late shifts, as well as night shifts. Candidates must be Registered Nurses with full NMC registration in the UK; applications from internationally trained nurses who have not passed their OSCE will not be considered. The Stanhoe ward features 32 beds, including 12 isolation rooms, and specializes in managing acute infections like meningitis, TB, and tropical diseases, as well as chronic conditions like HIV.

In this role, the Staff Nurse will collaborate with the clinical team and multidisciplinary staff under the guidance of the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse, ensuring high standards of patient care in line with NMC principles. The position calls for adherence to the National 6 C's of nursing: Care, Compassion, Communication, Commitment, Competence, and Courage, emphasizing a commitment to delivering excellent care. Additionally, there may be instances where support is needed on Medical and Surgical wards or the Emergency Department during peak times.
