The Paediatric Dietitian role at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Basingstoke is a permanent, part-time position (30 hours) designed for those with a strong interest in paediatric dietetics, whether they possess varied postgraduate clinical experience or are highly motivated individuals with less practice in the field. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of 7 paediatric dietitians and 2 assistants, providing specialized nutritional and dietetic services across several areas including gastroenterology, oncology, and outpatient clinics, while ensuring high standards of care aligned with evidence-based practices.

The position involves managing a diverse caseload, advising medical staff on specialist food products, and contributing to service developments through audits and patient surveys. Additionally, the dietitian will participate in training student dietitians and apprentices, attend multidisciplinary team meetings, and have opportunities for continued professional development.
