The Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is seeking a Nurse Manager for its District Nursing team in London, who will oversee service delivery during a 6-month maternity cover. The role involves providing high-quality and autonomous care to patients within a defined area, managing a team of Neighbourhood Nurse Leads, and collaborating with clinical colleagues to enhance community nursing services. Responsibilities include conducting home visits, initiating and interpreting clinical data, and advocating for patient involvement in their care.

Additionally, the Nurse Manager will engage in service improvement initiatives, manage disease-specific registers, conduct audits, and contribute to policy development, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based practice. This position requires effective leadership, mentoring of staff, and active participation in strategic planning and quality assurance processes to improve patient experiences in the community.
