The Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT is looking for a Supplies Assistant to join the Bassetlaw Theatre team. This role involves managing daily inventory activities, replenishing equipment, and coordinating the transfer of surgical items between various Theatre sites. Candidates should have previous experience in procurement and familiarity with ordering systems such as Genesis, SBS, and Oracle. Strong communication skills are necessary for liaising with suppliers and negotiating delivery schedules. Ideally, applicants will also have experience with surgical instruments, particularly in orthopaedics, as the role includes maintaining and organizing surgical supplies for the orthopaedic operating theatres.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient supplies service, including ordering and monitoring surgical instrumentation as needed by the theatre staff.
