Ireland Wood & Horsforth Medical Practice is looking for an experienced and proactive Practice Manager to oversee the operational and organisational leadership of two busy surgeries. The successful candidate will work closely with the HR/Operations Manager and Finance Manager to ensure high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities include developing and implementing the practice's operational strategy, managing finances (including preparing annual accounts and controlling cash flow), and ensuring compliance with Care Quality Commission standards. The role also involves handling complaints and significant event reporting, with a strong emphasis on achieving key targets and fostering a safe and efficient work environment.

Candidates will be required to present their approach for the first three months in the role and how they would prepare for a CQC inspection during the interview process, scheduled for November 20th/21st, 2024. Informal visits to the practice are encouraged to get a better understanding of the environment and expectations.
