The North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Assistant Clinical Psychologist for a fixed-term contract at Harplands Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent, working 37.5 hours per week within the Acute & Urgent Care Directorate. The primary focus of the role involves supporting the development and coordination of trauma-informed care training for inpatient services. Responsibilities include conducting research on existing trauma-informed training and policies, co-producing training materials with a Peer Recovery Worker, and assisting with audits, data collection, and analysis to facilitate service development.

To qualify, candidates should possess a completed upper second-class honors degree in psychology that grants eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) and have relevant experience related to mental health. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effectively conveying complex information in sensitive contexts. The post-holder will work under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist, contributing to both training and research initiatives aimed at enhancing mental health services in the region.
