The Development / Strategic Project Manager (Capital) position at Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust in Salford seeks an experienced individual from a background in architecture, surveying, construction, engineering, or project management. The role is crucial to the Estates Capital Projects Team, managing a multi-million-pound capital program that includes new builds and refurbishments, as well as addressing statutory compliance and estate capital backlog. The successful candidate will lead project development from the early RIBA stages, creating robust specifications and cost plans while collaborating with clinical teams, internal and external advisors, and construction partners.

The postholder will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of capital projects, implementing change and improvement programs across the organisation, and providing expert advice and training in project management tools. They will play a key role in facilitating efficient project execution, ensuring that existing infrastructure challenges are considered during the planning stages. The position demands skills in programme management and construction, with a focus on delivering significant strategic development opportunities within the Trust and its care organisations.
