The role of Sonographer – Women’s Health at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust involves providing high-quality obstetric ultrasound services within a maternity unit that caters to over 5,000 women annually. The successful candidate will be an experienced diagnostic sonographer, capable of performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations, accurately reporting findings, and maintaining high professional standards.

In addition to conducting ultrasound scans, the sonographer will mentor and oversee the welfare of patients and staff, participate in training and development, and engage in research and departmental audits. Effective communication skills and a flexible approach are essential for enhancing patient care and collaborating with a multi-professional team. The role requires adherence to departmental protocols and a commitment to maintaining certification standards in prenatal screening.
