The Band 6 Homebirth and Enhanced Care Community Midwife role at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust involves working within a community team to provide personalized antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to birthing individuals in the Barking, Dagenham, and Redbridge areas. The position includes performing home births and offering enhanced care to those requiring additional support due to challenges such as language barriers. Midwives will work long days and nights, alternating between hospital on-call duties and attending home births, often in collaboration with a second community midwife.

This role offers flexible working options, allowing for set shifts and on-call arrangements.
