The Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Quality Assurance Manager for a secondment opportunity. The role involves overseeing the Quality Assurance team for pharmacy services, particularly focusing on aseptic preparation and dispensing of systemic anti-cancer treatments and high-risk injectables. The successful candidate will exhibit strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities include managing quality systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, leading internal and external audits, and maintaining documentation related to pharmaceutical quality assurance activities.

Additionally, the Pharmacy Quality Assurance Manager will be the designated Head of Quality for the Trust's Manufacturing Licence and will supervise training and competency assessments within the department. The role also requires regular interaction with Pharmacy Managers and other stakeholders to drive quality improvements, manage risks, and deliver a patient-focused pharmacy service in a collaborative environment. The position entails strategic leadership in enhancing pharmacy quality assurance processes while embedding quality risk management principles throughout the pharmacy service.
