We are looking for someone to join our team as a ward clerk administrator. Kerr ward is a 22 bedded, medium dependency ward. It comprises of 4 bays with 4 beds in each bays, and 6 side rooms. The majority of patients have kidney related problems which may require investigations, renal replacement therapy or other medical or surgical interventions.
We are looking for a team player who is friendly, organised and pays attention to detail. You will have excellent spoken and written communication skills and be computer literate. Please note that the role involves working Mondays to Fridays from 8 am to 4 pm. You will need to act as the initial point of contact for patients, visitors and callers to the ward ensuring their needs are met promptly and politely.
The post holder will be responsible for providing effective and efficient clerical and reception support to Kerr ward, ensuring that administration processes meet the needs of all service users. You will also undertake clerical tasks that are in line with contributing to trust quality improvement projects and upholding the trust values - COLLABORATIVE, ASPIRATIONAL, KIND AND EXCELLENCE.
