The Garden City Practice in Welwyn Garden City is seeking an experienced part-time Practice Nurse to join their clinical team. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to support patient health and wellbeing, including administering childhood immunisations, vaccinations, and wound care, as well as conducting health promotion activities and managing long-term conditions like asthma and diabetes. The position requires participation in the Extended Access service on Saturday mornings and entails collaboration with a multidisciplinary team comprising GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

Candidates should be skilled in general practice nursing services, including ECGs and mental health assessments, while ensuring clinical governance standards are upheld. Responsibilities also include managing nursing resources, maintaining accurate patient records in SystmOne, and contributing to practice development and adherence to national and local healthcare initiatives.
