Job Summary for Bank Staff Nurse at North Devon Hospice, Barnstaple:
The Bank Staff Nurse role involves providing high-quality, person-centered nursing care to patients and their families during challenging times. You will work as part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team in a bedded unit, overseeing care for patients requiring symptom control, rehabilitation, or end-of-life support. Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivering skilled nursing care and adhering to hospice policies.
  • Assessing patient needs and developing comprehensive care plans.
  • Promoting patient and family involvement in care decisions.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality.
  • Administering medications safely and managing patient property.
