The Security Team Leader (Training) at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is responsible for leading a unit of Security Officers, including a CCTV Operator, to ensure a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Key duties include overseeing team conduct, managing shifts, coordinating with the Assistant Security Manager, and responding to emergency situations while maintaining a visible presence to deter crime. The role also involves managing access control, addressing incidents related to disruptive individuals, and conducting car parking and traffic management tasks. A crucial aspect of this position is the training and development of staff to ensure they are professionally equipped and compliant with Trust policies.

The post holder will regularly work across various NUH sites, handle unforeseen operational needs, and ensure proper records of staff attendance and duties are maintained.
