Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Specialist Dietitian for a temporary 9-month role within their Upper Gastrointestinal (UGI) team, covering maternity leave. This band 6 position is ideal for a dietitian looking to enhance their clinical experience in UGI dietetics, particularly in managing patients with surgical and oncology needs. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, evidence-based dietary care for inpatients and outpatients, including those requiring home enteral feeding.

Candidates will be involved in nutritional interventions and may also engage in supporting audits to evaluate the impact of dietetic care. While experience in surgery, oncology, or gastroenterology is preferred, it is not mandatory. The role necessitates strong communication and time management skills, plus a commitment to personal development and teamwork. Opportunities for student training and additional training will be provided, along with the requirement to comply with personal protective equipment guidelines.
