The Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Nursing Associate for its Children and Young People's Special School Nursing Service in Crawley, aimed at providing high-quality clinical and public health nursing to children, young people, and their families across multiple Special Schools in West Sussex. The successful applicant will be a registered Nursing Associate, working under the supervision of Special School Nurses and in collaboration with Allied Health Professionals and educational staff to deliver care, monitor health conditions, and implement individual care plans using established assessment tools.

Key responsibilities include recognizing changes in patients' conditions, delivering skilled nursing interventions (such as enteral feeding and seizure management), participating in care planning, and maintaining accurate documentation while adhering to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) standards. The role involves providing support and supervision to trainee or newly qualified colleagues and participating in clinical audits and team development, all while promoting a professional and compassionate environment for children and their families.
