The Alcohol & Drug Service (ADS) in Hull is seeking a part-time Trainer/Assessor in Substance Misuse (0.6 wte) to deliver engaging and high-quality training to both internal and external learners. The role involves teaching courses ranging from Level 1 to Diploma level, utilizing various assessment methods to track learner progress and ensuring an excellent customer service experience. The successful candidate will support the verification process with accreditation bodies and contribute to the continuous evaluation and development of training programs, tailored to meet diverse learning needs.

In addition to training responsibilities, the position includes administrative tasks such as documentation for audits, ensuring adherence to health and safety policies, and upholding ADS's Equality and Diversity standards. The Trainer/Assessor will engage in regular supervision sessions with their Line Manager to enhance their professional growth and stay current with developments in the substance misuse field, ultimately contributing to the reduction of the impact of substance misuse on the community.
