We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Whatton, a category C Prison located in Nottinghamshire.
HMP Whatton is a male adult prison with a capacity of 855.Hours:
The shift pattern is Monday - Sunday 37.5 hours per week based on a rota basis, covering the following shifts: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 6.30pm, 7.30am - 3.30pm and 10.30am - 6.30 Weekend - 8.30am - 6.30amSalary:
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £40,211 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks
As a Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions
- Undertake medication rounds
- Dispense controlled medication
- Attend emergency response situations
- Assess patients
- Undertake reception screening.
- Skills and knowledge to deliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary team.
