The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Senior Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician to join their Clinical Trials team. This permanent position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including maintaining the supply chain of clinical trial medications, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and relevant regulations, managing financial records, and supporting the logistics of clinical trials. The successful candidate will have a relevant Pharmacy Technician qualification and GPHC registration, along with an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician accreditation for the Band 5 role.

Key duties involve collaborating with research teams and external sponsors, managing dispensing protocols for investigational products, overseeing inventory and documentation related to clinical trials, and supporting the Clinical Trial Aseptic Unit. The role requires participation in day-to-day operations, including the preparation of aseptic products, routine quality assurance, and maintenance of record-keeping systems. Candidates who do not fully meet the essential criteria may still apply, as there is potential for a Band 4 to Band 5 progression position.
