An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated, dynamic and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our friendly pharmacy team. With full electronic patient records and medication administration we have changed the way we work across the Trust with a focus on medication safety and teamwork. You will join a friendly team providing a range of pharmacy services in this busy acute hospital trust.

Applicants should have knowledge of therapeutics and medicine use and experience of audit, risk management and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of staff.

We welcome applications from candidates who are working towards the essential criteria (i.e. are yet to complete a clinical diploma).

We are happy to accommodate part-time working as this role may suit a range of candidates.

The role will include on-call duties and participation in weekend working as the Trust develops its seven day service. There will be an opportunity to undertake an Independent Prescribing course as part of the department's commitment to increasing the number of pharmacist prescribers
