The NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board is seeking a Deputy Designated Professional for Children Safeguarding in Windsor, who will be part of an all-age safeguarding team. This qualified health practitioner must possess previous experience as a safeguarding lead within a provider trust. The role involves working closely with the Senior Safeguarding Lead and Designated Nurse to implement processes that protect children from abuse, while also managing responsibilities related to the safeguarding of children and young people in care.

The successful candidate will be involved in strategic support for the safeguarding portfolios, contribute to the continuous development of the workforce, and ensure compliance with statutory duties outlined in the Safeguarding Assurance and Accountability Framework (SAAF) and Working Together 2023. This role requires collaboration with multi-agency partners to enhance safeguarding responses and protections, as well as the ability to deputize for senior staff as needed. Candidates should have a clinically recognized qualification and a minimum of two years' experience in a safeguarding lead role.
