The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust in Salford is seeking a Consultant Dermatopathologist or Consultant Histopathologist with a special interest in skin samples. This role is ideal for those already experienced in Dermatopathology or those motivated to develop their skills in this area, potentially through obtaining qualifications such as the Diploma in Dermatopathology from RCPath. The successful candidate will join a team of three monospecialist Dermatopathologists, providing high-quality diagnostic services to the Dermatology and Plastic Surgery departments and supporting specialist reporting for nearby trusts.

The department is part of one of the largest Dermatopathology teams in the UK and features a collaborative environment with additional subspecialties, including neuropathology and upper gastrointestinal pathology. The team will soon implement digital pathology, and the position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced clinical colleagues who hold national and international acclaim, as well as contribute to ongoing research and academic initiatives.
