We are recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join our Marie Curie team at Newcastle Hospice.
Salary:Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 2 (aligned with AFC) £23,615.00 per annum & Enhancements, pro rata

The Marie Curie Newcastle Hospice provides high quality care in a comfortable environment for patients with a life limiting illness and their loved ones. Our Garden Cafe is open from 8.30 am to 6 pm every day and sells a variety of refreshments, light snacks and meals for our patients, visitors, staff and volunteers.
Reporting to the Head Chef, you will assist in the daily provision of all catering services at the Hospice, working to ensure that we maintain our level 5 food hygiene rating, and our commitment to providing a consistently high-quality food service.
You will be a vital member of the catering team, contributing to the smooth operation of the kitchen and you must be able to undertake general kitchen duties and food preparation and cook simple meals under direction of the Head Chef. You will need to be flexible, well presented and highly organized.
