Band 6: £39,205 to £47,084 a year inc HCA  PERMANENT 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to advance your career in Occupational Therapy by joining the team at West Herts Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as a Band 6 Occupational Therapy rotational.

This permanent full-time position (37.5 hours per week) offers the chance to gain diverse experience across various clinical settings.

The rotations, each lasting 6 months, include the following areas:

Emergency Department / Acute Assessment UnitFrailty UnitElderly CareMedicalCommunity Bed-Based RehabilitationStrokeOrthopaedics and Surgery.

The post holder will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills across the above rotations by contributing to service development and supervision of qualified staff.

Each rotation is supported by a well-established supervision and in-service training programme.

There are also opportunities for study leave and course funding both internally and externally.

About us

The department is a 7 day working service and this post would be included in that rota (frequency of 1:4 - 1:6 weekends) with rest days in the following week. This is underpinned by a competency framework.

Watford General Hospital is within easy walking distance of the Metropolitan line (underground) and Watford Junction Station.


There may be a requirement for cross site travel.
