Northfield Surgery is seeking a flexible and hard-working Receptionist to join their busy GP Practice team in Thorne. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and teamworking skills, along with previous experience in customer service; familiarity with GP reception and SystmOne is a plus, though comprehensive in-house training will be provided. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with work hours covering the core practice hours of 08:00 to 18:00.

Key responsibilities include welcoming patients and visitors, assisting them in various ways—both in-person and electronically, managing appointment records, overseeing financial transactions, and maintaining accurate patient records. The role also involves ensuring patient safety and comfort, handling complaints effectively, adhering to CQC compliance standards, and participating in personal development and training. The candidate will play a vital part in ensuring that patients receive the appropriate care and services during their visits to the practice.
