Band 5: £30,420 to £37,030 a year per annum  PERMANENT  GOOD SALARY 

We are seeking Occupational Therapists interested in developing their career in Carmarthenshire.

You will have the support of the occupational therapy team and opportunities to develop your practice across a variety of specialties and settings and we actively support supervision and continued professional development.

Specialties can vary but generally include:

Acute Care (Medicine, Surgery, Trauma and Orthopaedics)

Paediatrics

Mental Health

Admission avoidance/A&E

Stroke

Community rehabilitation

Intermediate Care

Mental Health Commissioning

Applications from registered occupational therapists as well as final year occupational therapy students are welcomed.

As 7 day services are developed, applicants must be prepared to work as part of a rota to cover 7 days.The post holder will be expected to travel within the HDUHB area. Mileage allowance is payable, pool cars and a lease car scheme is available.

You will be expected to work as part of a team to deliver high quality, evidence based, person centred occupational therapy to people, supporting an integrated model of care that promotes faster recovery from illness; prevention of unnecessary acute hospital admission and premature admission to long-term residential care, support timely discharge from hospital and maximize independent living.
