The Cardiology Outreach Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) position at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers an opportunity to become part of a specialized team dedicated to providing high-quality cardiology care across two acute hospital sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering advanced clinical assessments and support to patients with cardiac conditions in various settings, including the Emergency Department and outpatient clinics. This role emphasises collaboration with healthcare teams across different care levels to ensure effective patient management and referral systems, ultimately enhancing the care pathway for patients and their families.

The ANP will also play a crucial role in the development of cardiology services by providing clinical leadership, consultation, and education for nursing staff and other professionals. The position requires a strong interest in cardiology, effective teamwork, and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the department. The post holder will engage in multidisciplinary care delivery, supporting both patients and healthcare providers with expert advice and guidance while adhering to evidence-based practices and contributing to clinical governance initiatives.
