The Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking applicants for a Junior Locally Employed Doctor in General Surgery, a full-time, 6-month fixed-term position. Ideal candidates will be at the Foundation year 1 level and will work closely with Surgery Consultants and Specialty Registrar Trainees, providing day-to-day inpatient care, assisting in surgical procedures, and participating in Out-Patient clinics. The role encompasses involvement in various surgical specialisations, including Colorectal, Upper Gastrointestinal, and General surgery, with opportunities for engagement in audit and research. The position includes an out-of-hours commitment on a full shift rota, approximately 1 in 17.
