 FIXEDTERM 

The South Liverpool General Practice Collaborative (SLGPC) is looking for a looking for an enthusiastic, patient focused and highly motivated Nurse Associate, with a passion for Womens Health to provide maternity cover for an existing role. We are particularly looking for a candidate with good administrative skills who can build excellent connections with patients and co-workers.

Main clinical responsibilities include

Contraception Counselling

Long Acting Reversible Contraception Counselling

Assisting in LARC procedures

Improve access to smear appointments

STI screens

Smear taking

Pill checks

Assisting in HRT requests and menopause care

Chaperoning

Delivery of community education sessions

Education Training and Development:

Engage in appropriate professional development activities in order to maintain clinical competence and performance by attending staff meetings and joint educational meetings.

Ensure that practice is evidence based and in line with national or other given standards

Undertake mandatory and statutory training, keeping up to date with emergency procedures undertaking training as required.
