Public Health Wales NHS Trust is seeking an Epidemiologist (Analyst Specialist) to join its Health Protection Division within the Communicable Disease Surveillance Centre in Cardiff. The role involves specializing in areas such as blood-borne viruses, sexual health, tuberculosis (TB), and health inequalities, and includes responsibilities like developing surveillance systems, providing analytical support during outbreaks, and producing routine reports. The successful candidate will also support service-based research and be required to collaborate across various infectious disease areas and programs.

Candidates should possess a relevant honours degree or equivalent experience, alongside demonstrable public health work experience and expertise in analyzing complex data sets. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and flexibility are essential for adapting to team needs. While proficiency in Welsh is desirable, candidates who speak English or Welsh are encouraged to apply.
