The Staff Nurse in the Cardiac Catheter Lab at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is responsible for providing high-quality patient care during cardiology procedures, including diagnostic angiography, pacing, and transesophageal echocardiography (TOE). The role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, supporting medical staff during both diagnostic and emergency procedures in a theatre-style setup. Key responsibilities include patient admission and discharge, monitoring patients under sedation, recognizing and addressing complications, managing intravenous infusion devices, and maintaining accurate patient documentation.
