COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY NHS ROLE MODEL
Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual for the position of Practice Educator in Computed Tomography (CT) within their Cross-sectional team. The role entails being the lead educator, ensuring consistent training and development of staff in the CT service while supporting the MRI team. The successful candidate will design and implement training programs, provide clinical leadership, and act as a role model, delivering guidance and support to staff in clinical practice. This position requires significant experience in CT, excellent coaching and mentoring skills, and the ability to participate in service improvement initiatives.

The Practice Educator role will require the post holder to work from 8 AM to 6 PM and offers potential opportunities for further training and development of leadership skills. The candidate will collaborate with senior clinical staff to promote best practices and facilitate a supportive learning environment. With a focus on enhancing both technical and mentoring capacities, the role is integral to the development of the Cross-sectional team's educational framework, ultimately contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care at Barnsley Hospital and its Community Diagnostic Centre.
