Job description

We are excited offer the opportunity for a practice nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Sunnybank Health Centre.

You will deliver treatment room clinics and provide health screening, assessments, health education and advice to patients of the practice as well as wound management, cytology examinations, contraception clinics, baby immunisation clinics, travel vaccinations and adult immunisation clinics.

Ideally you will have experience of general practice nursing however we are open to providing training to the right candidate.

There will be opportunities for development within the role at the practice should this be of interest to the successful applicant.

You will be working with a supportive, flexible and forward-thinking practice team who are passionate in providing a proactive approach to patient care within the general practice environment.

Health Screening & Promotion

Patient assessments

Blood pressure monitoring

Cervical Cytology examinations

Wound care/management

Adults immunisations

Childhood immunisations

Urine testing

ECG's

Travel health advice and vaccinations

Attending meetings relevant to role

The practice is willing to provide additional training for the successful candidate to undertake this role.
