Colchester Medical Practice is seeking an accredited and dedicated Adult Counsellor to join their team on a two-year fixed-term contract. The position offers flexibility for full or part-time work, with a minimum commitment of 22.5 hours to a maximum of 37.5 hours per week. The counsellor will provide both low and high-intensity therapies within a stepped-care model, focusing on patients with depression, and will be responsible for conducting initial and risk assessments, delivering short-term counselling, and referring patients to appropriate services as needed.

The role requires significant experience in primary care and the ability to work autonomously while adhering to professional and service guidelines. Counselling services will be offered both face-to-face and online, during operational hours from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
