Job description
The Trust's Resourcing System (GRS) is now used by all EMAS employees and also used to provide data for external, private providers. The Resource Systems Senior Coordinators will be joining the team at an exciting time where they will be expected to manage a varied workload within the team and provide expert resourcing knowledge.
We are advertising for 2 x full time positions.
The post holders will be accountable to the Resource Systems Specialist for the delivery of the service.Through an enhanced knowledge of appropriate resourcing software, policies, and procedures, they will provide expert knowledge, skill and experience in the area of resource system administration and co-ordination.
About us
To support with the resolution of resource system faults by reporting and monitoring issues and where appropriate, liaise with external providers.
To act as a Single Point of Contact in the absence of the Resource Systems Specialist and to be responsible for defined management functions within the team.
To analyse, interpret and respond to staff and managers queries across the Trust relating to the Central Resourcing Team including technical system queries and complex queries regarding time and attendance and pay.
The timely provision of analytical and statistical information relating to data held in the Trusts resourcing system. Responsible for overseeing agreed resource related audits and governance checks to maintain a high level of data quality within GRS.
To maintain and where required, document standardised procedures in the use of resource data systems.
To provide support and where necessary, take ownership for any resource related projects involving the Central Resource Team or the Trusts e-rostering system Global Rostering System (GRS).
Responsible for overseeing all internal and external third-party communications to the Central Resourcing Team either verbal, written or email, prioritising the most urgent, delegating or referring queries and ensuring all communications are actioned.
Act as a central point of contact within the Trust for staff to report unsocial hours, holiday pay, timesheet queries / changes (e.g. key aspects of resource / pay related queries under Agenda for Change). The post will advise staff and managers accordingly.
To assist with the mentoring and training of Resource Systems Officers, Resource Systems Coordinators as well as existing Resource Coordinators (RCOs) and Support and Enabling Services managers requiring resourcing support.
To ensure the production of rotas and all information held on rostering systems for Support and Enabling Services are accurate and conform to Working Time Directives and Data Protection Act requirements.
To support the Resource Systems Specialist with troubleshooting, investigation and development work.
To oversee all interfaces linked to the Trusts resourcing system (GRS) analysing, interpreting and acting as required to ensure any errors are corrected and the process runs efficiently.
