North Bristol NHS Trust is seeking a Urology Patient Pathway Assistant to join the Bristol Urological Institute's Pelvic team, working 37.5 hours a week. This role focuses on supporting the administrative processes for patients with urological issues, ensuring adherence to the 18-week referral to treatment guidelines and cancer pathways.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Patient Pathway Coordinator in managing inpatient and day case waiting lists.
  • Scheduling appointments, coordinating admissions for treatments, and booking theatre lists.
  • Providing administrative support to clinical teams, managing correspondence such as clinic letters, and handling patient inquiries.
  • Ensuring patient confidentiality and addressing special needs or comorbidities.
  • Liaising with various healthcare providers and maintaining effective communication with patients and staff.

The ideal candidate should be organized, calm under pressure, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment. Experience with RTT and cancer pathways is advantageous. The position requires teamwork and initiative to facilitate high-quality patient care.
