North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a temporary Assistant People Services Advisor to join the Compliance and Change team. This role involves providing initial advice and guidance on People Services queries, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and best practices across various employee groups via face-to-face interactions, phone, email, and written communications.
Key Requirements:
- Relevant NVQ level 4/diploma or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in an administrative role or customer service.
- Familiarity with People Services policies and procedures.

An exciting temporary opportunity has arisen as part of the Compliance and Change team within People Services.
The successful applicant will support the team by providing initial advice and guidance on queries, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures and best practice in all employee groups through either face to face contact, phone, email or in writing. Individuals should have a relevant NVQ level4/diploma level (or equivalent) or relevant experience to NVQ level 4, as well as experience working within an administrative role or working within a team/providing a service to customers. They should have an understanding of People Services policies and procedures and the ability to work on and use their own initiative, prioritise work and work accurately tomultiple deadlines.

The post holder will work in close liaison with members of the wider People Services and OD team in order to ensure continuity and provide cover for colleagues as appropriate, e.g. Recruitment, ESR.

Disclosure and Barring Service:
On 28 November 2020, the new Disclosure and Barring Service filtering rules will come into effect.
The changes mean that:
- youth cautions, reprimands and final warnings will no longer be subject to automatic disclosure

Standard Check: £18 + Administration cost of £3.85 = £21.85. Deducted at £6.85 from 1st month salary and £5 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
Enhanced Check: £38 + administration cost of £3.90 = £41.90. Deducted at £11.90 from 1st month salary and £10 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
