Job Summary: Nurse / Midwife Practitioner - 25.5 hours at BPAS, Nuneaton
The British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) is seeking a Registered Adult Nurse or Midwife Practitioner for a part-time role (25.5 hours/week) across its Warwickshire units in Nuneaton, Stratford, and Coventry. The position requires flexible working on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality clinical care in reproductive healthcare services, including termination of pregnancy, STI testing, and contraception.
  • Engage with clients throughout their care pathway from consultation to treatment, working in various unit areas including theatre and recovery.
  • Provide both in-person and phone consultations, ensuring clients understand their options and administering necessary treatments.
  • Conduct post-treatment check-ups and manage relevant paperwork, referring to NHS services as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Adult Nurse (Level 1) or Midwife with active NMC registration and at least 12 months of clinical practice experience.
  • Interest in sexual health and reproductive healthcare, with knowledge of safeguarding and Fraser/Gillick competencies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, alongside proficiency in IT, specifically Microsoft software.
