The University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiographer for their Nuclear Medicine department at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. The role involves delivering high-quality scanning services by administering radiopharmaceuticals and performing Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT scans, while ensuring effective daily operations within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates are expected to possess strong technical and clinical knowledge, be resourceful, and demonstrate the ability to respond to challenges and maintain cooperative relationships within the team.

The position includes rotation within the Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT teams, with training offered for PET-CT modalities. The successful candidate will manage patient care, oversee workflow, perform equipment checks, and support departmental research while adhering to regulatory standards for radiation safety. The role involves initial weekday hours with potential weekend shifts as the service expands.
