The Urgent Care Practitioner position at The Haven in Crawley, offered by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, is an 18-month fixed-term role covering maternity leave. The Haven is designed to prevent unnecessary A&E visits for individuals in mental health crises, providing assessment and support for up to 23 hours. Practitioners will have the autonomy to triage referrals, conduct comprehensive assessments, and collaboratively plan onward care with patients and their support networks. The role involves working with various professionals, such as police and community mental health teams, and offers the opportunity to enhance skills in holistic assessments and treatment planning.
