Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join their Paediatric Critical Care Unit (PCCU). This role is ideal for Adult trained nurses with relevant Critical Care experience. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to paediatric patients aged 0-16 years who require High Dependency and Intensive Care. The position involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery, while also taking responsibility for coordinating and implementing nursing care for an allocated patient group in line with the NMC code of conduct.

The role emphasises strong decision-making skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to the Trust's CARE values: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence. The postholder will also play a vital part in contributing to the development of nursing practices, supervising junior staff, and advocating for patients' needs.
