The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a Locum Consultant Geriatrician to join its Elderly Medicine department, which has recently benefited from significant financial investment and the expansion of its multidisciplinary team. The role involves providing high-quality inpatient and outpatient services tailored to the needs of frail elderly patients and leading initiatives to enhance care delivery, including the development of new elective and specialist services. The consultant will be responsible for motivating the multidisciplinary team, fostering strong relationships with management and external agencies, and engaging in service development to address future challenges related to the ageing population.

Candidates will have the opportunity to demonstrate their geriatric expertise across various specialties and work collaboratively within an established team to innovate care models.
